I work with children and their families in their own homes or in their educational settings with key workers and teaching staff.

Initial assessment

Initial assessment of your child's speech, language and communication skills at home or in their education setting.

Full report with recommendations and suggested goals to help your child's developing communication skills.

Therapy sessions

If your child needs ongoing therapy sessions then these can be provided at home or their education setting to support them with meeting their goals.

Therapy sessions will aim to be fun and may be directly with your child or may be with family / education staff to support everyone working with your child in knowing how to help them with the development of their communication skills.

ABOUT ME
I qualified as a Speech and Language Therapist in 2008 from the University of Reading and worked in NHS services for 14 years. I have experience of working with children from 6 months to 16 years of age with a range of speech, language and communication needs and eating and drinking difficulties.

My work has included assessment and therapy with children and their families as well as nurseries, mainstream schools and special schools to help ensure each child's needs are understood and well supported to help each child reach their full potential.

I am passionate about communication and I provide personalised care to meet the needs of each child and their family.
​
As a Mum of 2 myself, I can appreciate how worrying it can be if your child is struggling to communicate or having problems with their feeding. My approach is always to consider each child as an individual in the context of their own family to ensure strategies and therapy are practical and useful.
