ASSESSMENT OF SPEECH AND LANGUAGE

Initial free telephone consultation to discuss your immediate concerns and take a case history.

Assessment of your child's communication skills in their home or education setting. This may be through observation of your child in play, informal assessment tasks or more formal methods.

Charge: £120

ASSESSMENT OF EATING AND DRINKING

Initial free telephone consultation to discuss your immediate concerns and take a case history.

Assessment of your child's eating and drinking skills at a mealtime in their home or education setting.

THERAPY

Therapy sessions are planned to be lots of fun!

Each therapy session will be planned to support your child with reaching their speech and language therapy goals.

Charge: £60 per session
BESPOKE PACKAGES FOR NURSERIES AND SCHOOLS

Staff training available on various different speech and language topics.

Support with setting up and running therapy groups and implementing whole setting strategies to support children with speech, language and communication needs.

ABOUT ME
I qualified as a Speech and Language Therapist in 2008 from the University of Reading and have worked within NHS services for 14 years. I have experience of working with children from 6 months to 16 years of age with a range of speech, language and communication needs and eating and drinking difficulties.
​
My work has included assessment and therapy with children and their families as well as nurseries, mainstream schools and special schools to help ensure each child's needs are understood and well supported to help each child reach their full potential.
​
I am passionate about communication and eating and drinking and I provide personalised care to meet the needs of each child and their family.
​
As a Mum of 2 myself, I can appreciate how worrying it can be if your child is struggling to communicate or having problems with their feeding. My approach is always to consider each child as an individual in the context of their own family to ensure strategies and therapy are practical and useful.
